


Déjà Vu Web Series is a 12 episodes web series that tells the story of Sebastian, a young man who can see tragedies before they happen and therefore having the opportunity to change them. What he doesn’t know is that in doing that he will change other’s faith unleashing events that not only will put them in danger but also his own life and the one of the woman he loves.
The story was recorded in various locations in Bogotá, Colombia and is led by Julián Trujillo (Sebastián), Clara Mejía (Isabela) and Alejandro Aguilar (Lucas) along with a select group of actors with wide projection. Overall the crew and cast consists of new and young talent.
The series was created by Juan Francisco Pérez Villalba and Edwin Herrera Ruiz and began as a thesis that became an ambitious audiovisual project that has received rave reviews by scriptwriters, filmmakers and academics of television and films. Déjà Vu Serie Web, received an Honorable Mention from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2012 as meritorious undergraduate work. Besides, the project became two other thesis projects: one by Felipe Riaño Triviño and Andrés Guillermo Luengas Ramírez who did the sound design; and the other by Camilo Andrés LozanoV who composed the original music.
The series in its three first months released the 12 episodes and reached more than 23,000 views on YouTube, more than 5,000 likes on the Facebook page, more than 600 followers on Twitter, an interactive contest that had a response of more than 500 people in a week and that more than 40 national and international media speak of the project.
