Edwin Herrera Ruiz
Radio and television producer in nationwide mass media with an emphasis on creating journalistic and fictional formats. He's television writer and was cultural and economic journalist for the international channel of Caracol Television and broadcaster for multiple commercial campaigns on radio, currently hosts a daily opinion show in Javeriana Stereo 91.9. He is Social Communicator with emphasis on production of audiovisual and radio content from the Universidad Javeriana.
Juan Francisco Pérez Villalba
Film and webseries director & screenwriter. He have directed & written several short films including Our World (2012) which was part of the Official Selection of the 53rd Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI) in the category of New Creators and for which he received several awards including the Telefónica award for Creativity in Digital Content in the I Iberoamerican Universities Festival in Digital Content (CODI) and the Cesares Award 2013 for Best Screenplay. He studied Social Communication with a major in Audiovisual at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Colombia.
Déjà Vu Web Series is a creation of Juan Francisco Pérez Villalba who was the director and Edwin Herrera Ruiz who was the producer of the project. The story was written by Juan Francisco Pérez Villalba who sought to tell a story in which a character had to face series of unexpected and tragic events in the shortest time possible, looking for situations and places that any ordinary person can live in his daily routine. The scripts were written by Juan Francisco and Edwin and counted with the advisory of Andrés Salgado, television writer recognized in major media in Colombia.
